Structured Cabling FAQ
Should we use Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 handles most office needs. Cat6A supports 10 Gb/s over full 100-meter runs and is a common choice for Wi-Fi access points and for buildings you plan to be in for a long time. We recommend one after seeing your space and hearing your plans.
Can you clean up our existing network closet?
Yes. We can remove abandoned cable, re-terminate and label existing runs, and reorganize the rack so your network is easier to manage.
Do you work on new construction?
Yes. Running cable while walls are still open is faster and cleaner, so it helps to bring us in early in the project.
Will our cabling be labeled and documented?
Yes. Every run is tested and labeled at both ends before we hand the project off.
