Business network design in Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay Region

A plan for how your network should be built before anything is installed: how devices connect, how traffic is separated and secured, and how it grows. Designed and installed by the same crew.

What's included

What a network design covers

Network assessment and mapping

We document what you have today: switches, cabling, Wi-Fi, internet connection and connected devices, so the design starts from facts.

Segmentation and VLAN design

Separate, secure segments for staff, guests, phones, cameras and access control, so one problem does not affect everything else.

Capacity, PoE and Wi-Fi planning

Switch ports, PoE power budgets, uplinks and access point placement sized for the devices you have now and the ones you will add.

Diagrams and handoff documentation

A clear network diagram and equipment record, so your team and future technicians can understand and change the network with confidence.

Where it fits

Built for the way your building is used

A design step pays off most when a network is about to change. These are the situations we see most often.

  • New construction, remodels and office moves
  • Adding cameras, phones, access control or Wi-Fi to an existing network
  • Multi-location businesses that need consistent setups
  • Networks that have grown over time and have become slow or unreliable
How a project runs

From discovery to documented network

  1. Discovery

We walk the site, review your current network and learn what the business needs it to do.

  2. Design

We draft the layout, segments, equipment list and Wi-Fi coverage plan, with an itemized quote.

  3. Review

We walk you through the plan and adjust it before any work begins.

  4. Build & document

We install and configure the network, then hand over diagrams and a record of what was built.

Common questions

Network Design FAQ

Do we need a network design, or can you just install equipment?

If you are adding cameras, phones, access control or more Wi-Fi, a short design step up front prevents slowdowns and rework later. For a small, simple network it can be a quick plan on paper; for larger or multi-system buildings it is worth doing properly.

Do you install what you design?

Yes. We design the network and then install the cabling, access points, switches and connected systems ourselves, so what is on the plan is what gets built.

Can you redesign a network we already have?

Yes. We start by mapping what is there, then recommend changes in stages so your business can keep running while the network is improved.

Will we get documentation?

Yes. You receive a network diagram and a clear record of the layout, segments and equipment so future changes and troubleshooting are easier.
